Life as a chicken

I am a chicken

I wonder what the world will be like

I hear children yelling and telling everyone  

    to be quiet

        I see big bulky eyes watching me from

         I want to run around and be free

       I am a chicken

I pretend to act like I am not there

I feel a little scared when everyone is watching me

I touch the class

I worry at night they there is no one there to help us

I cry when my brothers and sister leave me

I am a chicken
